O2 blocks topcashback deal sign-up

I've been trying to sign up for broadband and home phone via the TopCashBack deal but O2's website is misbehaving badly.
The deal is for existing customers only but when I submit my email address it tells me it is already in use - yes, by me! This is even after it asks me to sign in so they know it's me.
It also requests my mobile number which I provide to get £5 a month off but after submitting there is red text next to it telling me I should provide a number starting with 07. Well yes, it does, 079 etc
I don't want to contact them on the phone as I'll lose the £30.30 cashback but it seems they have intentionally set up their website to block the very customers who are eligible for the deal.
Does this highlight the kind of experience I am likely to expect from them as a home phone and broadband provider? If so, I'll take my business elsewhere.

You're not going to believe this, but I signed up with 02 BB last year (Jan. 10); I was supposed to get £100 cashback but it never happened
I contacted TCB but all they could do was to wait for an answer from 02 (which also never happened).
Yes, some people did get their cashbacks, but many didn't; seems 02 might have set this up, so not everyone gets the money they were entitled to.0
