Prudential to M&G S&S ISA Transfer

Hi,
Had a chat with my mum last night about her "PEP". She's received a letter from M&G thanking her for the recent transfer of her S&S Isa (was a PEP) from Prudential. The letter says this was agreed by her in November 2010.
She remembers a few phone calls from who she doesn't know, but she says she just hung up on them, and hasn't signed anything.
I bit of googling shows that M&G were bought by the Pru back in 2002. So is this transfer anything to worry about, or are the Pru just re-branding their legacy PEP accounts as M&G?
I know probably neither the Pru or M&G are the best places for S&S ISA's, but I can't seem to get that through to her. The units in the PEP still are, and always have been the Pru's own Global Growth fund - again not what I think an 82 year old should be in, but it's her money.
Cheers,
Judwin

M&G took over as ISA manager for Pru a few weeks ago. All stuff has been rebranded under M&G.
Its purely a logo in corner change. Nothing to worry about. (the ISA manager change is a formality)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
