You will be able to get the GRO reference numbers from websites but you will need to buy the certificate to find out the details.
Mrs P P's idea of looking for half-siblings is a good one. It's usually possible to trace the children of a marriage and you can look for them on FB and other sites.
Just be very careful, the half sibling may not know anything about you or her Dad's previous marriage!0 -
even if he is on a site such as genes reunited he may not respond to messages.
i havent seen my birth dad since i was around 5 yrs old, a year or two, i payed for genes reunited and he was on there, but never replied to my messages. funny thing is he replied to my sister, maybe cos sister dosent have much contact with me or my mumloves to knit and crochet for others0
