  • Took my 16 month old golden retriever in today for same thing, hopefully he will be fine.
    Not sure if i will be able to look hin in the eyes again!!

    Poor baby, mine was the same when he had his bits off. Whined for days. I just cuddled him and gave him some extra treats and loads of attention.

    He was fine after about 5 days. Hope your boy will be ok!
  • Just a quick update. My boy is now the calmest he has ever been, but just as loving ... and he isn't pulling as much as he used to. Early days, I know, but he really does seem more content in himself, even if he has to wear his Buster collar for the time being! Thanks again for everyone's input. I am starting to wish I hadn't put this off for nearly 4 years (he's now 4.5 years old)!
