I have just booked a one night stay on Sunday 27th February at the York Novotel through hotels.com. Cost £79 for 2 adults + 2 kids in a superior room with breakfast included. Has an indoor swimming pool which is an added bonus. I also used a 10% discount code which you will find if you search hotels.com discount codes. Think the 10% offer ends this weekend. Total price for my booking was £71.10 and hopefully a further 8.08% off by going through Topcashback. The Saturday night prices were expensive though! Will be doing Pizza Express (lovely overlooking the river), Yorvik Centre and Sightseeing Bus Tour with my Tesco rewards vouchers too!
  • Thank you so much for the information, I've still not booked as im holding out to see if I can get a megga deal lol. Need to save my pennies for shopping while im there.
Please feel free to leave any info on York, events in the next few weeks, bargains etc as it might come in useful for not just myself but others visiting york in the next few weeks. Thanks again :D

  • Thank you, that link has lots of info.

  • York isn't that big. Getting into the town isn't a problem if you're further out.
