new to orange bb

not sure if this should be in techie
my mother in law has just got her first pc and signed up for orange b b she can sign onto internet but nothing will open on internet explorer she phoned orange at their expensive rate (i'm gonna look on saynoto0870 for her) they went thru all this jargon (also language barrier) then decided after 10 mins telling her that the engineers are working on problem:mad: :mad: why didnt they say this from the start:mad: does anyone know if there iw a problem (northeast of england area) or could she have done anything wrong i've had a look and cant find anything wrong (but i'm not techie expert)
when she searches thru google the search page is there within a split second but when she goes to click on a website the loading in bar only goes half way but the page is blank
any info appreciated:beer: :beer:

yes i had the same with orange and finally i spoke to them and they said that they were having problems (again) with LLU lines... sorted now but lasted almost 24hrs for me...A friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)
