Loading cash onto Travalex Cash Passport

Firstly apologies if this has been asked before - I performed a forum search but couldn't find anything!

Anyone got any spiffing ideas on how to load money onto Travalex's cash passport card?

I got one a while back (on the advice on MSE) to try and avoid budget airline booking charges. It worked once but every way of re-loading it incurs charges.

Once I managed to hand over hard cash at an airport Travalex kiosk and got them to credit it with no fee whatsoever but had another go at that the other day and they said a £5 charge was unavoidable. I suspect that this is entirely variable as to the knowledge/mood of the staff on the day!!

Anyone else have any experience?

Cheers

Jenks
