Why's it so expensive compared to other/bigger/newer/nicer looking places within 1/4 mile?

I know it was on streetview, but I usually then look at http://maps.google.co.uk for a better experience than what RM gives me.
  • Too expensive, Needs complete overhaul to bring up to present day standards.

People are getting savvy about what they will and will not pay for a property.

Have any similar properties sold recently, if so have you checked the sales prices on line and compared to yours, if yours if over priced compared to what has sold then your potential buyers will know this as well - its all free info online.

    Or a price drop?
  • The lounge and the bedroom pictures don't really do them justice, and the front of house picture and back garden looks a bit dull and uninspiring, but nothing looks cluttered or untidy, and there is nothing glaringly obvious. If the pictures have been the same since it's been on the market, a complete change - including the header picture - would be beneficial. I don't know the area so can't comment on the price..

I would be looking at the above property rather than the OP's property. In my opinion, the OP property is in need of a lot of modernisation including kitchen and potentially bathroom (guessing here, as there is no picture) which are both expensive. If I was looking as a potential buyer, I would think why no photo of the main bedroom? From doing a 1/2 mile search of the properties around, I think that the OP property is overpriced for a small property that needs a fair amount of updating. The photos could be better but I don't think it would make too much of an upturn of interest in getting new ones, I think ultimately it's the price that needs looking at.

No photo or dimensions of garage. What is state of drive. Creosote fence in garden to get rid of green growth. I love the way they describe the garage doors as opening.:rotfl:

Thank you for all the suggestions. I shall now talk to the co-owner to try and get things moving.
