Sure enough, that is correct. But it is not sufficient reason to feel compelled to leave it up. If as tenant, - or newly moved in owner - you don't want there, don't feel embarrassed about taking it downThe law says that such signs can stay in place until 14 days after completion or signing of a tenancy agreement.

But that's the point, we are taking it down. Agent 2 says they took it down repeatedly after agent 1 was sacked, and every day they come into the garden to fetch it and put it back up again. It's been put up again tonight even after I emailed last night.
I'll leave it until the 14 day point is up, and see what they say after that.0 -
