iPhone Problem
Options
Hi, just wondering if anyone could offer some advice.
I got an iPhone 3GS in Nov 10, last week I had an error message, which basically meant that there was a problem with the sim tray, so the metal contacts weren't connecting inside the phone so I was getting No Service errors, and saying that there wasn't a SIM installed when there was.
Contacted Apple, went to the Apple store, said no problem, it is under Warranty, we can swap it for another unit.
He said it was a refurbished one, that's how they keep their costs down, which was OK with me at the time at it has 60 days cover and is still covered by the remaining warranty until NOV 11.
My problem is that the wireless is appalling compared to my old one. It keeps saying cannot connect to server, and even if it manages to, the connection is slow in comparison.
Can I go back to Apple and complain?
The original fault was nothing to do with me, and now I feel as if I have a substandard product, but I don't know enough about sales law etc to go in there and ask for a new unit (or if I am even entitled).
Thanks in Advance for any help!

The fact you've got such a poor connection (compared to your old handset) suggests to me that you've been given another faulty phone, just faulty in a different way. If I were you I'd take it back to the Apple store and see if they'll replace it/fix it (and let us know how you get on, if poss).0
