Disposable cameras on the table

i am planning to set up a digital camera on a tripod in a corner somewhere so couples and groupes of friends and family can go and get there pics taken. it will be on a timer and not manned but should be fun especially as the wines flows!!!

I was going to do this but decided against it, as I went to a friends party and she did it and to be honest people were being silly with them, for example taking photos of themselves, or shouting others and when they turned round taking a photo without giving them time to prepare, so i didnt bother.

What you could do is a photo prop box - that might be a nice idea. I was going to have one as I was due to get wed in december and we were gonna have a table with santas hat, antlers, feather boers, comedy glasess etc and then some captions but then the wedding got postponed cos of the snow and we felt to deflated to change it all (obvously we couldnt use xmas in jan )so didnt bother!

I was going to do this, i nearly bought 10 cameras last week. But after reading people's experiences' i dont think i'll bother!

I'll message everyone to upload to a photobucket album or something!
