Fake Bank Draft Help!
Comments
-
The money shop broke the data protection act by revealing info about this cheque to your work colleague!
I'd say something0 -
Unfortunately I believe the onus lies on you and not the moneyshop. Make sure you contact the police asap then talk to the moneyshop about the debt youve created. Hopefully you will be able sell the watch quickly and clear it.0

Why didn't you use the £6000 to buy the car?0

Having a bad run of luck with those bankers drafts aren't you?h755bpx wrote:Recieved and banked a draft from National Irish bank for a car £6,000. NOT AN OVERPAYMENT, NOT RELEASED CAR. banked it yesterday and the money is showing on my account as balance BUT NOT YET AVAILABLE FUNDS. Have posted this on another forum asking whether a scam, I just need to know, if it is, will the draft actually clear at some point before it is found to be fake or stolen? Want to know how long to hold onto for before I release the car.
Thanks
Seriously, I would contact the police straight away, if it's a fake draft, you need to get them involved."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
The police wont do anything, that happened to me a few years ago. Part of the reason I'm so much in debt. And before anyone says.... I'm not stupid, and I'm not daft about money. Like Snaggles says, sometimes people are just unlucky.DFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

This is all very odd. I'd contact the Police (if indeed this is legit in the first place).0

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde… to be stung by a fake banker's draft once is unfortunate; to be stung twice is just careless.
And in such a short space of time....0 -
why don;t you call their pawnbroking department and ask for help - it's in their interest to help customers and avoid a debt surely?0
