Thats exactly what I though! Weekend is fine hun, the more info the better- I'm going in armed!!

Hiya - send me the details of the company, I'll do a bit of digging around, see if anything pops up. But I would be wary - sales jobs come in two flavours, and any that have 'OTE' anywhere near the mention of salary only suit a very few people and screw over most of the rest (OTE being 'opportunity to earn' - ie commission based - you often run up your own phone and petrol bills and unless you're a real sales guru and push people hard, you make nothing or less).
  • i've heard macdonalds are always looking for ambitious people

    Thanks for that.

Not being picky, but I always thought OTE was On-Target Earnings, ie if you meet the targets set by the company, you will earn that wage ?

Pretty sure OTE is Opportunity to Earn - ie. basic will be very low and rest is commission based. In the recent Mary Portas show about CSL Sofas - staff were paid £16 a day basic wage with the rest made up on commission.

I've also seen it as On-Target Earnings, meaning exactly what you have described. You meet your sales target and you will earn the amount stated from the commission you get.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
