Need help with childrens toothpaste please

Can any of you lovely people tell me what childrens toothpastes suitable for a 4 year old are plain white in colour? ( mint flavoured )

Jusy bought DS one and it happens to have pink stripes in it and he won't entertain it as he says its got strawberries in it :rotfl:( he hates strawberries BTW and no amount of convinving is going to changes his mind.)

I even tried to mix it together and he held it under his torch to check it and it was still pinky :rotfl:

Any help greatfully appreciated :T

tesco do a blackcurrant flavoured purple one.

Though mine always used adult toothpaste and lump it. I did threaten to get the meat flavoured dog toothpaste if they moaned.

  • I've switched our two onto adult toothpaste now. I got fed up with having to use the kiddy stuff up after they used all ours :rotfl:

I figure that a tiny smidge is fine, and they both spit.
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
  • As recommended by Toothsmith a dentist on these boards, i now use adult toothpaste on both mine and have done for over 8months, they are nearly 3 and 4. Currently they are on tesco own brand total care, freshmint, its green and white in packaging, but the paste it white only. They only have a smidge and Toothsmith recommends its better for kids to have a smidge of adult paste than gimmicky kids ones. Plus he said to me its also good to not rinse after brushing to let the paste sit on the mouth over night, so the fluride does its stuff! My two dont seem to mind and last dentist visit, she remarked several times about how white my 4yr teeth were!

As above there is no need for children to use a seperate toothpaste, therefore any adult one that is plain white will be fine.

No. Unfortunately. I am so huge I can't even move around the house without getting dizzy, DS was 12 days late so fingers crossed this one comes sooner!

Wish mine would take the adult stuff - my eldest constantly cries that "its minty!!!!" Can see him using kids toothpaste in his 30s!!!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
