02 is the other obvious LLU option on that exchange, but the new tariffs are more restrictive than the old. If you have (or can get) the £5 O2 mobile discount then certainly worth a look.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

The OP has their line rental with the post office, who wouldn't allow the calls to go via Sky "talk" would they?
I wasnt sure but thought it may be possible.
I have my rental with IDNET and can add Sky talk if I wish.
Been searching for an answer to this re PO and have found this dated 14 days ago

Post 3 question (My BOLD)i have this morning signed up woth sky+, broadband @ £7.50 and Sky talk free - Ok so my question is who do i pay line rental to, as the phone service at the moment is provided by the Post Office?unless you transfer the line rental to us it would still be payable to the Post Office.0
