    No it isn't.

    One could resign because they were being discriminated, for example.

    And one could be sacked unfairly as another example.

    It depends on the cirumstances and the OP's question is like asking how long is a bit of string.

    Both of those are unfair dismissal events and the claimant would be expected to go to a tribunal to get compensation. Any benefits (if any) paid in the interim need to be repaid.
