Am I right in thinking that I would. after 2 years. lose my 9 years ncb if i didn't have a car insurance in my name?
There are a few companies that accept 3 years, but you will have limited choice and it sounds like you are selective (I mean that in a good way).
Generally across most of the market it will expire after 2 years.0 -
I also value being able to call a UK line as I have had problems with Indian customer service in the past.0

your NCB last for two years if you do no use it, have you went back to NFU to see - if your sons not main driver your full NCB should still be full ?0

Admiral have nothing to do with Go Compare, the comparison site that is part of the Admiral Group is confused.com. If your worried about it, try the other big two comparison sites moneysupermarket & comparethemarket
Also your going to read -ve reviews about all insurers, that tends to be the nature of the beast. Personally I don't see anything wrong with Admiral0 -
Hi I too am having trouble with car insurance quotes - having just found out I have lost my 10years NCdiscount as I decided not to own a car for these past two years - I recently was given the opportunity to buy a little run around costing only £300 and yet I'm now being quoted for insurance as if I'm 18 years old with no experience again - I'm 48 and have no claims against me - how can this be fair to penalise me in this way, just because my previous car died and I couldn't afford to buy another car at that time until now ? Do they really expect people to just keep paying for insurance when they don't need it to keep up the NCDs ? Has anyone had any similar experience and if so did they manage to do anything about it ? I'd be really grateful for some help.0
