Its a mare you have to practically take the phone apart to get to the battery. Then you have the problem of actually sourcing a genuine iphone battery. You could end up putting a worse battery in than you started with.
Your as well getting Apple to do it £55 +£7 p&p.

Must be an outstanding battery at that price .
I just sourced genuine Samsung Galaxy battery £9-50 rated higher than the IPhone battery . Why is it so very expensive users with no choice ??

Thats Apple for you, they never want to be like all other mobile phone manufacturers, where you can just drop in a new battery. Its the same problem trying to replace a battery in an ipod nano.:mad:0

Its not so much the battery price its the taking apart the phone.
Not sure if the iphone4 is the same price as its only 2 screws to undo and the back cover slides off giving you access to the battery.
But where do you buy a genuine iphone battery as Apple dont sell them.0
