This requires a fair amount of Turnip and it's well tasty.

Apologies if you are a vegetarian!!0 -
My mum used to do chopped carrots and turnips mixed up together as part of Sunday lunch. It was delicious so it may be worth a go if you have carrots.0

Hi there,
I took the plunge and ordered my first organic veg box - it has 4 turnips in it - something I sometimes buy one of and put in soup or a stew. Does anyone have any slightly more exciting ideas for turnips?
Thanks in advance

I sometimes mash up turnips with spuds and use for topping shepherds pies etc, use about 40% turnip to 60% spud so its not too strong0

I may do that - as I have too many spuds as well. I fancy something a bit more summery (I don't think that is a real worg) perhaps I could make mash and then make little potato and turnip cakes and fry them - might be nice with salad.0

grated, raw in salads, with horseradish sauce or mayonnaiseAll Art is the transfiguration of the commonplace
