I don't download lots of stuff. I am on the PC quite a lot but just for e-mails and newsgroups. What should I be looking for?
Thanks.

If you don't d/load much why not stay on Dial-up. Fast4.net is only £6.99/month for unlimeted. Check how much RAM you have in your PC as this makes a considerable difference to how quick the pages load. A RAM upgrade is a lot cheaper than a costly bb contract!0 -
On the bargains front - BT seem to have got wound up - I have an offer of £`17.99 for what will be a 1mb connection in March; 2Gb limit and £24.99 for a 2Mb with 15Gb - looks better than most competitors - have they got their act together - or is there something hidden that I haven't spotted?

Whichever ISP you choose bear in mind some ISP's are on Datastream which cannot be transferred to the majority of ISP's which use IP Stream. This' I think' includes Virgin, NTL and a few others. If you wish to move from them you have to cancel with BT and reactivate the line to join IPstream. All this costs you!!!Down south where, unfortunately, the government does remember us.0

Another good site to use for info is https://www.ispreview.co.uk where ISP's are rated based on users feedback, and you can also compare the different aspects of each IPS's offering.
