no i'm not a troll. like i said i signed up to paypal over 4 months ago, i was using a cheapo tesco phone at the time and put that number in. it's broken and i've since got a new phone and the old one was given as a toy to my toddler as he likes to pretend to ring/talk to people. They have bein emailing me and telling me that they have tried contacting me. Sorry but you're very odd to think anyone would be joking about something like this? Oh and it was 30 days to pay but i didn't read my emails for a while and the date works out that by now i have 3 days left.

Then you should do as I said, tell paypal they have 14 days to return your money, or you'll start legal proceedings to recover the debt.

yeah.. but at the end of the day they have more power than me, they can do what they like, they have solicitors and debt collectors etc..

Why was the payment refunded to the buyer? Have you tried telling PP that you didn't receive the item back?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Regarding your initial question, someone may phone you for £7.58 or whatever it is, but unless you are taken to court they cannot legally add any more charges or send bailiffs to your house or do anything more than ask for what you owe them.

You will not be taken to court for £7, it would cost the company way more than they would get back.

Also as you have no credit agreement with the company your credit rating will not be affected unless you are taken to court.

As others have said you should make efforts to sort it out and reclaim what is owed to you but if you wish you could ignore it and it is likely to go away.

Obviously that is not particularly good advice in most cases, but for such a small amount it certainly isn't worth worrying about when no one will do anything about it.

Have you tried phoning Paypal to point out that you have proof of delivery, and thus it's them that owe YOU money, and that under their own terms and conditions, they had no right to deduct the £30.

It's you that should be taking THEM to court!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

If you ever want to sell or buy on ebay again you need to have a paypal account, I'm assuming that a dispute was opened & you either didn't respond or lost it.
Paypal won't reopen a case after this length of time so it might be best to contact them & say you can pay when you get your money.
I know that it doesn't seem fair but with 2 young kids ebay is a good place to buy & sell their clothes & toys.
I wouldn't want to lose my Paypal account for £7 odd.

If your not going to contact paypal about the money they owe you then surely someone you know can lend you £8, or you have goods to that value you can sell in CEX or cash converters, failing that, send them a cheque, they will have their payment in time and it wont clear till after you have been paid
