Much as I like twadgeychops and have had some riotously funny good chats with your highness, your lowness, once or twice, and I'm sorry that you've had this nonsense with your previous splendid name. And much as I like and appreciate Lenny Bruce I wouldn't really want to have to wade through a river of his vile filth and similar every time I come here.

I like out there, off the wall humour, as you can see in some of my posts, and I like quite a lot of rude stuff. But I don't come to MSE for it. In it's right place, sure, I laugh like a hyena at lots of rude stuff, but when I come on the chat boards here I don't want to have to navigate through lots of filth.

I'm glad that Martin and co keep the quality up here, well done guys, keep the wrong'uns and the nasty stuff out. Keep it clean and family friendly, as you do.

As Martin explains in the stickies, there's plenty of other places available on the net if you want extreme stuff, but this here's a money saving website, not porno central. Got that, boys and girls?

By the way, I don't know if you've ever got round to reading his autobiography. It's a right hoot, very funny, very hardcore but, er, he was a terrible wrong'un, a real industrial criminal fraudster, did a lot of nasty scams. A rather ugly person. Very funny, yes, but sick as a sicko is. No, I don't want that kind of subversion here on MSE, there's plenty of other websites full of that if you want it, one of the joys of this place is that it's mostly clean and friendly and safe. This is a bit more upmarket rather than down market, a bit aspirational and inspiring, there's some standards here, it's not just random chaos and base animal behaviour and crim talk. Nooo.
