Go in to your online banking, click on the current account and you'll have 3 lines like:
Yeah, I can see how to request it - I just wondered if it would tell me (without actually setting up the OD) what the pre-approved figure would be - as it used to on the old-style system.0 -

Ask for £9999.
Comes back with:- if you wish to apply for more than your guaranteed overdraft of £XXXX please call into branch or 'phone, etc
You can then get back to the home screen no bother. (without setting up any od)
