I called Halifax, my own bank, this morning and was told they no longer do Electron cards. Any idea who still does them??0

Flybe and Aurigny both don't accept this as an Electron - in fact for both it's cheaper to use a debit card. Avoid and don't waste £6 like I just have loading it!0

Bad idea. Last July I put £10 in an account to open it so I could pay for budget airline flights. Didn't use it. Out of of the blue, an email from them saying they were about to make my account dormant at a cost of £2.50, no time frame given. Couldn't log on, what I remembered as my password didn't work, contacted them for new password. By the time they replied, they are not speedy, the £2.50 had gone! They refused to refund, I closed the account for the priviledge of which they charged me £3. Not mega bucks, thankfully, but do feel ripped off. Not sure that this outfit should be recommended by the site.0

CAT M not sure it is recommended on here anymore, this thread is almost a year old and Ryanair had already moved to pp Mastercard then.
The dormancy fees are clearly listed in the T&Cs and also referred to earlier in this thread.0 -
I had to book a flight quickly so did not read all the posts, otherwise I would not have used Entropay.
BMI Baby did not accept it either as a Visa Electron or as a debit card so no point having it!
I'm now having to cancel the Entropay agreement. Who knows what charges they'll levy in order to return my money to me?
Anyone else with this experience?0
