Hi all
just to let you know that BT are currently fighting their way through a backlog of complaints as their home hub phone has been out of stock.
You firstly get a grey coloured homephone, which is actually fairly good. REMEMBER connect it rhough the home hub temporarily or you will get charged for the calls even if you get free calls at evenings and weekends, you MUST connect it through the hubs phone line.
When your home hub phone finally arrives, it isnt actually that good. It looks nice and fits the hub at the front but thats about it. Its actually pretty unreliable, speaker isnt great quality.
HOWEVER, I rang BT and said it was rubbish, it didnt work properly and on several occasions just turned itself off............
SO.......... They sent me a new phone, or rather 2 new phones. Digital ones, BT studio 1000. They are brilliant, you can have one connected to the hub and another in another area of the house. Both cordless, brilliant digital clarity and really easy to use. My recommendation is try and get hold of these phones, they really are much better, plus you get 2 rather than the 1 homehub phone.
