t-mobile problem

At my dads house i am getting no signal on t-mobile unless i go out upstairs into the bathroom. Seeing as this was a major problem i opted into the t-mobile orange share, and i thought my signal should be much better as i have a orange mast 150- 200m away. However there has been no improvement, i still cant get a signal downstairs, or any 3g connectivity the 3g signal keeps disappearing, i have phoned t-mobile the 3rd time i phoned they said there was work going on in my area which had now finished, according to the coverage checker i should be getting very good coverage and a constant 3g connection im getting neither, what should i do? Could it be my sim? any help will be appreciated

yep i know! thats why i opted in im not getting any bars of signal on t-mobile whilst downstairs and i would of thought it would switch to orange so i could at least call and text, apprently not lol
  • i only mentioned 2g, as your post refered to 3g a lot in it.

What you can do is 'force' your fone onto the other 2g network. how to do that depends on your device.

Hi quick update, i phoned them up again as my coverage was completly gone today again, theys aid they had to manually configure network sharing between t-mobile and orange. after being on the phone for 45 minsutes they sorted the problem, i now have at least 3 bars of signal!
