Thanks Tixy, feel a bit better now! If only it meant I didn't owe it after another 2 years!!! Still, have to say being near the end of paying up one of the CC's I feel quite proud that I'm (slowly) managing to get myself out of this mess, feel a million times better now knowing I won't be scarred by defaults for much longer, so thank you again for giving me some fantastic news!

Hope you're okay today. You sound like a woman of great spirit and I loved your bucket quip. Just keep bailing gal, you'll get there. With regard to things like school trips, every state school has a fund for parents in hardship to help them with things like that. I remember going with a lump in my throat to the Yr 2 teacher to apply for this. I felt as though I was doing a walk of shame and that everyone would know, I couldn't have been more wrong. The school was brilliant, extremely discreet and didn't make a big thing of it. There is a lot of help and people are happy to help. Kids don't care about clothers and stuff under the age of 10. They'd much rather have time with you.
