Yes, a standard Freeview receiver. They are dirt cheap and available everywhere.
Currently your aerial cable plugs in to your tv. When you get your Freeview box your aerial cable will plug in to the box and the box will plug in to your TV. It will come with simple instructions and is very easy to set up. It will need to be plugged in to a socket though, so make sure you have an extension lead or spare socket!0 -

what do they mean by 2012? I thought it was months from now?
does that mean I have to get an ariel before then?
