It's up to you whether to stop yourself getting charged by your bank or not.
When you do you'll probably kick yourself in the shins too and say 'wish I'd protected myself'.
There is absolutely no difference in analogys, both are profit making organisations which give services and goods to the customer.
Try filling up with petrol at a tesco forecourt, then drive off. You'll see that you will possibly get charged 1 for the goods and 2 a fine.
Try taking money not authorised from the bank and you will see that you get charged.0 -
Lets be honest here....you,re miffed at the posibility of losing free banking.. there is no such thing as free banking and there never has been, the reason why everyone was offered free banking from the banks was because of certain scumbags ripping off the Group 4 security vans and securicor, thats why when ordinary companies said, we,ve had enough! we were all forced into banks to have our wages paid...yes its up to the consumer to look after his/her interests where D/D or S/O are affected and quite rightly so. Then came all the ..oh we can offer you this or that. Britain today is being ripped off left right and centre, wages increase if your lucky by the cost of living rate..some are less fortunate. Some of us cant even get council housing, electricity and gas prices rise...but wages dont. Its an accumulation of many things. Yet the banks will willingly offer to pay something that you have not authorised them to do..how is that theft or stealing!0

Surely in theory banks make a profit from mortgage payments and loans, they certainly do not pay that much out back in interest,
Thats where they should be getting their profit from, not from bank charges.
Yes, I know we all signed the terms and conditions, but how many of us actually read the small print when we opened the accounts, we trusted the banks.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I have offered help to stop them in the first place and look at the response you get.

It doesnt matter what T&C she signed or when, the argument is...they do not reflect the true cost to the bank whether she signed them or not...the Bank has broken the law in the amount they are charging.....
Better than corrie this lol0 -

How can you complain about something you willingly signed up to when you openly admit you did not read it. :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
