Pipex terrible service - bemused

My parents have been pipex customers for around 5 years now

Recently their brooadband stopped working out of the blue. No windows updates, no security updates: just the exchange failing to recognize their login info (yes, we have triple checked it

This was 10 days ago

After countless calls to Pipex's call-centre, which always end in the agent saying that he / she cannot understand the problem and someone will call them back (which they never do), or the line going mysteriously dead, my mum called yesterday to request the PAC code

So of course they suddenly start paying attention ....... someone starts trying to work out the problem with more attention to detail, and then ......... the line goes dead, and nobody calls back

Unbelievable: I've never heard of a company so uninterested in keeping a customer.

Anyway, just thought it was worth moaning about.

Sounds like they've jumped the gun and disconnected them already...
PS: it's a MAC. PAC is for mobile phones.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    .

They have been part of Talk Talk since 2009...renowned for their customer service
  • I'm happy to bump any thread re the terrible customer service from Pipex. Will be posting my own experience soon but suffice to say I've had no broadband service for 3 weeks now and despite spending over 6 hours on the phone to technical support and customer services nothing has been resolved. Good luck to anyone else who finds themselves in this position and if anyone's thinking of signing up with Talk Talk (who took over Pipex) forget it!

    :naughty:

My parents just got their Pipex (TalkTalk) service cancelled for no apparent reason... I won't go into it here as I already wrote another post about it but basically it took most of Saturday speaking to idiots at TT , Various departments checked the account and said all was ok and finally one of them said the account had been cancelled.
