Ok, you can have that one
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Apple have had the appointment system since they started selling the iPhone 4 sim free, I had no problems going in to an Apple shop and buying one, they offered to set it up which I refused and they were quite happy with that. I was told the appointment system was put into place to stop "box breaking" dealers buying in quantity to sell abroad.
Perhaps they were suspicious of a 13 year old with over a £1000 in cash trying to buy two iPhones so decided not to allow the sale, as is their right to refuse any transaction they do not wish to complete?
OP, What did your father do or say to the Apple staff when you asked him to make the purchase?====0 -

They would not sell it unless the phone was opened in front of us and set up. Which is incredibly annoying!I love saving money :j0 -
