Android and Windows 7
Options
Ok - here is what I want to do.
I want to get an Android phone. But I need it to sync with Outlook running on my recently acquired Windows 7 Netbook. It happens to be Outlook 2003, but I can upgrade.
However, I understand that there are some problems with Android phones and Windows 7/Outlook.
Certainly I have encountered problems with Windows 7 and my basic Nokia handsets. On my previous PC, they all worked with PC Suite via bluetooth. On Windows 7, although phone sees PC and PC sees phone, they fail to authenticate. (Well documented ongoing issue on the web). Works ok with cable, though so I can live with that.
I would like to know if anyone has had success with syncing Androids with Windows 7 and, if so, which version of Android s/w, which handset and whether cable or bluetooth.
Thanks.

Hello
What in Outlook do you want to sync - email, calendar, contacts? All of them?
I use Google Calendar Sync on my laptop. This syncs Outlook's calendar with Google Calendar and that's built into Android.
There are Android Apps like Moxier that will synchronise fully (I think) with Outlook.0
