Solicitors letter from PArking Eye

Hi,

I have received 3 letters from Parking Eye which I have totally ignored.

However I have now received a solicitors letter from Pannone. I have 14 days to pay or they will take me to court.

What should I do? Ignore this letter also?

Should I upload a copy so you can add it to your 'what to expect' thread?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Pannone? Scraping the barrel if they're taking on PPC work, aren't they?
  • 'will' take you to court or 'may'? the exact wording could be important.

I doubt very much that they "will" take you to court.

    What does the letter say?

Don't know what's going on at my favourite PPC but this is the second new solicitor this week.
Carry on ignoring. Parking Eye have never taken anyone to court.

What was the address given for Pannone?

Is it the same address as for the proper solicitors known as Pannone or are the PPCs using a proper solicitors name to pretend letters sent from the "portacabin of dreams" are being sent by someone else?
  • It says:-

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    .
    .
    .

"..... The purpose of this letter is to advise you that unless you arrange to make payment within the next 14 days we have our Client's instructions to issue County Court proceedings against you immediately and without further notice. If procedings are issued you will become liable for Cost and ... etc......"

So, nothing to state that they will.

    Keep ignoring.

There is no address at the top of the letter, but at the bottom it says:-

    Registered Office: 123 Deansgate, Manchester M3 3BU. Tel. 0161 909 3000 etc...

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

That looks like them. This from their website:-
