huge problems with talk-talk / tiscali

I changed my package with talk-talk/ tiscali (used to be a tiscali customer) to get line rental and internet with them rather than just internet. This should have been in my September bill, but wasn't - meaning I still had to pay line rental to BT and a higher rate for internet. I called them and they said they'd fix it. However, in october's bill it still hadn't been fixed.
Eventually after over an hour on the phone to them, getting passed from one department to another (cost me about £7 on the phone bill!) I managed to get it sorted and I was offered 6 months half price in compensation.
All was OK with November & December's bills.
A couple of months later in January they then 'lost' the 6 months half price when moving me to their new system and put the price back up, also 'accidentally' adding anytime talk to my package which I hadn't asked for so charging me even more. I had to spend a long time on the phone getting passed from one department to another (and getting charged for the call) trying to get this sorted. I was eventually told I had to sign up for a longer contract (18 months) and would get £5 per month off for 12 months instead.
Now I've got my February bill, the anytime talk they said would be taken off is still on there, and has the £5 been taken off? Of course not.
I'm so frustrated now...
I don't know how they keep any customers at all given how incompetant they are!
Be very wary about signing up with them!

Only after the last tree has been cut down,
Only after the last river has been poisoned,
Only after the last fish has been caught,
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten

Join and use their Forums to complain/sort out your billing problems.... the staff there (Mon-Fri 'working' days only) are UK-based and are generally very helpful. Ranting here won't really help (except in venting your anger).

Looking at this data migration (from the old systems to the new) someones head should roll for the cockups that have occured. Seriously, its not difficult, its complicated, but its not difficult.
Anyways, to the OP, only way to get this sorted is through high level complaints team.0
