    It's a double edged sword, they might pay up to save the extra costs to them, or you may end up appointing one, and having to deal with the credit hire.

    Either that or the OP can intimate a claim through their own policy and recover the costs from the TPI that way.

    I would do what the other poster says, ring them, tell them you will involve a claims management company if they dont get on with it.

    They dont like CMCs, they have to pay them hundreds of pounds for their services.

    Which will cost you your excess, until you can recover it, on your own, if you ever do, and lose your ncd unless your insurer can claim their costs back. If the renewal is coming up, that will take a while to recover, even if you can.

    Im sure council said it has been passed to them, but Zurich are waiting on the councils report first, my car is old anyway and im looking at getting a new car but i cant do anything until all this is sorted out, its really stressing me out :mad:
