Restricted time between searches

Which makes you madder - the 25seconds or when the site slows down for everything?

The truth is the forum search is by far the biggest drain on resources. There are so many posts searching through them takes real power. Hence we try and limit the amount of searches a little - especially in busy periods. If we didn't then every post would be severely slower.

I know its a pain, but its unavoidable. Just remember the days when the site was slow all the time. I believe most of the time now its fast and reliable

Please can this be removed! It is very frustrating. I don't search particularly often, but when I do I'd like to do a few different combinations within a short period of time and its frustrating and time wasting having to wait 20 secs between searches.

I find it a pain too - mind you all vbulletin boards seem slow compared to Invision boards which are what I tend to go on in general
