Hello - just done a quick search for you. This link will show you who the Chief Executives are at Halifax. Also on this website is their address and there should be a phone number too.jdc110571 wrote:LOL i can hear a "muuuuum" coming on

I suggest a strongly worded letter to them - also cc at the bottom of the letter a journalists name from a daily paper such as the Mail, Sun etc. You might not get in touch with the journo but Halifax bosses don't know that. It should make them get their finger out with the threat of bad publicity
I've tried this a few times and it does work.
Good luck ((hugs))))Current debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)

Sorry, but no longer true:david_hellier wrote:You are legally entitled to ask for your pay in cash. So in the interim I suggest you do this. You'll probably find that paying cash is very effective at controlling spending!
Taken from the AMICUS Union web-site:
The Truck Acts and the Payment of Wages Act 1960, gave manual workers the legal right to be paid in cash. They were repealed by the Wages Act 1986 and ceased to have effect from 3 January 1987.
With the repeal of the direct legal right of manual workers to be paid in cash if they so wish, the legal authority of employers to change employees’ method of payment depends on the contract of employment.
On a point for the OP complaining to Halifax, definately do it publically if you can bring yourself to. I would think that more negative publicity is exactly what they want at the moment, with their shining example in the Farepak debacle.0
