Blackberry is pretty popular nowadays. I don't have one, but some of my friends do. I think it has the chat or messenger feature that only BB has. You can chat with your friends if you have their BB PIN, and that messenger is not connected to the network you are on.
I'm all for Nokia. If the one you're buying for wants Nokia, then why not? If he's accustomed to it, then better. It would be much easier to use.0 -
I would say that Blackberry is the better option. Nokia are off the pace these days, even their CEO has said as much (he equated them to a sinking burning oil rig).
In terms of cost, a Nokia X3 will cost £79.95 with Phones4U and a blackberry curve will cost you £139.89 via Dialaphone.
Blackberry will give you better email integration, but Nokia has better free satNav capabilities. In terms of Apps, neither are great. Could I throw in a thrid handset for you to consider? If I were you I would go for the HTC Wildfire. For me this is the best budget handset out there. You get easy email integration, free google maps (sat nav), loads of Apps and growing all the time and costs £129.95 on phones4u on Vodafone. Let me know what you decide to go for.0
