Hello everyone, not been around much the last few days as not been too well:(, nevermind, it's the weekend!
Not at all a DFW day today - why does everything run out at once?
Had to get dog food (£23), petrol (£25), cat litter (£9) and dog's medication is about to run out too, tried to order online and it's out of stock with no delivery date quoted. A bit worried as only enough for about a week - it's extortionate at the vets so may try phoning the online place on Monday.
Went to bed when I got back from shops and only just up so I guess the fact the heating's been off all day is a plus!
Snoop, congratulations to your DD.
Have a good night everyone:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Evening all
List for this weekend:
Lots of washing on, dry inside on airer
Food from stores, meals from planner
Walked to friends today with DD
NSD today, hopefully same tomorrow
HM bread in bread maker
Continue on mission to use stuff from cupboards and do next week meal plan, have used loads, meaning created more space and also lots of good food :T
Early night as DH out and I don't feel too well, be good to catch up on some sleep
Check banking, quidco and one poll
Have a great weekend everyone0 -
I posted this on the frugal thread but thought as we always seem to have washing/airing mentioned in our lists, it applies here just as much!
Why oh why I hear you sigh
Can I not get my washing out, on the line to dry
There’s washing hanging in every space
Oh what a mess it makes of my place
I’m trying to be good and not give in
The tumble dryer makes such a din
But that’s not the worst thing it can do
It makes the electricity meter clunk up too
So roll on summer and the shiny days
When washing is easy and soaks up the rays
My house will be tidy for those few weeks
It’s just in winter it seems so bleak
The snowdrops are out, daffodils near
And the sound of the birds I can hear
The days are getting longer, it won’t be long
Till the sorrows of winter will be gone

Lily - I got my sheets on the line today...that made me happy (am easily pleased;)). Great poem - I can't wait to be able to get the washing outside and not on a huge airer in my small kitchen/diner all the time. Won't be long...Spring is in sight:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0

:rotfl:It's funny how something so simple can make so many people happy! :rotfl:
Mr Sun took a while to arrive today and didn't hang around long enough for me to get anything out! It's just "sods law" that I have at least twice as much washing in the winter than summer and it's sooooo much harder to dry. (The dog has a lot to answer for!)
Winter seems to have lasted for ages this year, think it's 'cos the snow arrived so early but there's def signs spring is coming!:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Morning everyone
didn't post yesterday wasn't a very DFW day. Took DD1 and DD2 to cinema and to the shops new make-up and eyelashes and underwear for DD2 and goodies for DD1. it was a lovely day together but spent too much so back to it todat.
Today I will:
do the food shop and try to keep to budget
3x washing on 30 degrees
Change all the bedding
do a tidy
work out what I'll pay off when I get paid on Tuesday
Need to go to Argos to pick up an iron I reserved more money but my friend gave me the one I am using just now and it's not great. Hopefully new one will save me some time.
have a good Sunday everyone.0
