The tax credits have given me a four week run on as the nursery require 4 weeks notice thats the only reason we are still receiving the child care element. My partner and i were both working before he lost his job. Hope that makes sense?0

That makes sense. You need to check with the council then whether they allow for 4 week childcare run-on and explain that is what the childcare element is for, and see if that changes anything.
