Whoa! - Retailers on MSE

I've just noticed a thread over on Grabbit, where someone was complaining about a company called 'Bigpockets'. The very next post was from 'Bigpockets' asking for the persons details to chase the order up!
The same thing happened the other day over on Mobile Phones. Someone complained about a company called Mobile Outlet (or something like that) and up they pop to deal with the query!
Whats going on? Are we under retailer surveillance or something?
Are retailers allowed on MSE??

The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I can't see the problem. If a company wants to improve its customer service by actively seeking out and swiftly resloving complaints then good for them. Can I help?0

This happens over on the dvd forums but there is a specific suppliers forum , people like BigPockets are very helpful and tend to sort issues out. I also think they are forum sponsers over there which is diffierent from how this particular forum is setup and run.
I suspect this will need more thought from those in charge......0 -
A few years back I had a huge problem with argos, I had bought an i-pod and it got delivered to my old addy and the bloke who lived there had taken it and denied having it.
I got no where calling argos and it was there fault in the first place, anyway a lady who worked for agros headoffice had seen my post on here and left me a pm.
I called her number and she had a new i-pod delivered to me by taxi that afternoon and just in the nick of time for xmas.
Thank god she saw my post and helped me out!!0 -
I just wish that someone from Pigsback would monitor their thread and deal with some of the complaints/queries regarding missing points.Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0

I don't know how you could stop retailers using MSE, let alone want to.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
I think that what you're seeing is good customer service...0
