Where do I stand?

Yesterday vodafone phoned me to tell me I was a valued customer and could get phones for the family for a cheaper price. They offered me a variety of phones so for my partner I got a htc wildfire. However my son inquired about blackberry's and they offered him;
Blackberry Curve 9300
Blackberry Curve 8520
Blackberry Bold
Blackberry Pearl.
He opted for the Bold saying at the price it was the best value as was the superior one from the range. However got the phones today and alas, the htc is fine, but a Blackberry Curve 8900 was given! Now I phoned up and they told me they couldn't give me a bold on the price I was told, however they offered it to me...and I specifically said Blackberry Bold when ordering. By the looks of it the price I was given (£20 a month) does look a little too good to be true, but I don't see how they can just give me a phone previously unmentioned and expect me to take it?
They have told me they will get back to me on Wednesday after reviewing the phone calls however if they tell me no bold can be given, what will happen about returns etc? My son says he would take one of the other phones (bar the 8520 which he says can be gotten cheaper elsewhere) he was offered but not the 8900 as it is already obsolete before going into a 2 year contract so I am not sure where I stand on this
If it all goes pear shaped will this contract be cancellable instantly?
Thanks very much for replies!

That's unfair. You should check up on consumer policies and see if they have something for this situation, just in case vodafone won't grant you what you wanted.0

If you are unhappy with the upgrade you need to return it within 7 days otherwise you will be stuck with it for the remander of the contract0

Hi Shining Star
I’m sorry to hear that the handset that you received does not appear to be the one that you had been expecting.
Under the terms of your agreement, if you are unhappy with the product received for any reason, you have 7 working days to arrange an exchange of your purchase, or to return and cancel the agreement. More information on our returns policy can be found on our website here.
I can see that you have already contacted our returns team and you are awaiting a response. If you experience any complications with your exchange or return, please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mailing here, using WRT135 as the subject, linking us to this thread, and we’d be more than happy to take a look for you.
Kind Regards

Thanks for all the advice. I am just off the phone with vodafone now and they are going to give me the Bold as they have confirmed it was what I was offered. Can't say fairer than that as it is a fantastic deal!0
