    LOL! I don't know what to think hence why I'm asking :p No need for a crystal ball, just a tip from the financially savvy!

    But yeah, I'm not too sure 4.75% is competitive enough for the 5 year period if there are rumours that interest rates might go up....

    Definitely 4.75% is too low for 5 yrs when 5% is on offer - and anyway as i keep saying - rates aren't going up this year, not until next year at the earliest - telgraph mentions May 2012 - but what do they know - i'm just glad i (and the missus) took out a 5yr 5% FRISA April 7th this year - thats a nice £534 in our account by April 2012 and in 5yrs time our £10680 will be a nice £13630 - better than nothing and not bothering to fund your ISA
