Tesco Wine

  • The solution is simple.

If its not a web-only offer then get down to a store and you can buy as many as you want.

If is, then you have to buy 12 if you want to take advantage of the offer. No-one will force you to drink it in the same time as you would normally drink 6 bottles of wine.

If you don't want to buy 12 then don't.

    Simple really isn't it?

    And that's what I did!!!!!

Have to say, what annoys me about Tesco wine, is not that they have a 12 bottle min order, but that you must order in multiples of 12.

They never used to have this restriction, as I would always order 18 bottles from them in the past. But a while ago (18 months? not sure) they changed it to multiples of 12 which just annoys me as it never suits me! 12 is hardly worth ordering, and 24 just seems way too much. I usually want 2 cases of white, and 1 of red, but I can't do that I have to end up ordering 4 cases, grr!

(and unfortunately no, I don't have a local Tesco store so online is my only option).

"Absolutely furious that the minimum order is 12 bottles for wine, or 6 bottles for champagne!"

"they changed it to multiples of 12 which just annoys me as it never suits me!"

Sounds like you gals need a nice relaxing glass of wine. Oh, no, wait....

Lol @ your post NiallB ;)

I just don't get it though. I can fully understand the stipulation of a min order size, as they probably don't find it economical to send just a single case of 6 out.

But once that minimum has been met, I don't see why they force you to order in pairs of cases. Imagine only being able to order pairs of items for your online grocery shop! :p
