as title.bought a small PC component for £2.39 with free P&P on 7th of Feb
its arrived to day vis Special Delivery@ a cost of £5.05
it has an estimate of 3-4 working days delivery,so isnt overdue
they have 4.7/5 for postage and dispatch from 10 ratings
been on ebay since 2008 and have 100% of 206
feeling a bit guilty but im loathed to pay the extra on such a cheap item
mistake by the seller?

I just checked my OBA rate for SD and it is £4.87, but I hardly use it, so could it be the seller has a better SD rate?0

I had a similar experience where a seller from Thailand quoted p&p of 50p (for something that I thought would come in a standard envelope). I thought even that was a bit on the cheap side.
In fact it arrived in an A4 card backed envelope so it must have cost him more to send than the purchase price and p&p combined.
Unfortunately looking at the message I got from him confirming dispatch his English was so poor I doubted I would be able to get him to understand that he could have some extra for p&p but I still feel bad about it some months later. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

it was sent via a post office

Have they asked you to pay the extra???XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Blimey. Makes no sense at all.0

If they haven't asked you to pay extra (which they shouldn't do!) then don't worry about it.
I have made several listing errors on p & p and have just absorbed the extra cost myself, each time. It is the only fair thing to do.0 -
I'd just leave them good feedback and forget about it.
Maybe they got it mixed up with another (more valuable) item that should have gone by SD as it was a bit unecessary for such a low value item !0 -
So long as you aren't being asked for more money, then there isn't a problem - your seller chose a particular shipping method and has duly sent your item safely. I never ask for more shipping fees if I've made a mistake (although I do refund if I've charged too much). Wouldn't you do the same?0
