  • I just checked my OBA rate for SD and it is £4.87, but I hardly use it, so could it be the seller has a better SD rate?

I had a similar experience where a seller from Thailand quoted p&p of 50p (for something that I thought would come in a standard envelope). I thought even that was a bit on the cheap side.

In fact it arrived in an A4 card backed envelope so it must have cost him more to send than the purchase price and p&p combined.

Unfortunately looking at the message I got from him confirming dispatch his English was so poor I doubted I would be able to get him to understand that he could have some extra for p&p but I still feel bad about it some months later.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.

If they haven't asked you to pay extra (which they shouldn't do!) then don't worry about it.

I have made several listing errors on p & p and have just absorbed the extra cost myself, each time. It is the only fair thing to do.

I'd just leave them good feedback and forget about it.

Maybe they got it mixed up with another (more valuable) item that should have gone by SD as it was a bit unecessary for such a low value item !

So long as you aren't being asked for more money, then there isn't a problem - your seller chose a particular shipping method and has duly sent your item safely. I never ask for more shipping fees if I've made a mistake (although I do refund if I've charged too much). Wouldn't you do the same?
