Another CCJ for the clampers to ignore then.
  • can someone help me out here (with my legal ignorance):

if JD parking don't go ahead with an appeal, and don't pay the RK as directed by the court within 28 days: what options are open to the RK in respect of loss recovery?

He can ultimately send the bailiffs in but I'd bet a pound to a pinch that there will be nothing of value to distrain upon and the clamper will pheonix the following week.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

That's why, at least in some cases, there is no alternative to the use of angle-grinders as you won't get your money back once you've paid (but do take extreme care) ;)

They know the score before they start there will be nothing in his name! And he will only be on 5 bob a week!

It would be nice if a bailiff could seize a few clamps! However that could come under tools of your trade!!:o

I don't know if its an urban myth but I heard years ago there was a guy in the West Midlands they called the "wheel clamp grinder man" He would travel around just using a whizzer and chop them off! I believe he didn't charge just chopped them off!
I think if it is true a clamper must have upset him at some time!:T

    Ahh found him!!http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/3485625.stm
