How many free listings can I make to stay under the radar for 'business acc. upgrade"

I know it is a bit of an 'how long is a piece of string' question, but I wonder if other private sellers would be willing to share how many free listings they make on ebay's free-to-list weekends - without having been asked to upgrade to a business account.

So far I have 46 listings ready - a mixture of new (unwanted xmas gifts) and used items - and a mixture of clothes, kitchen, bric-a-brac, DIY, books and photography items. None were bought with an intention to resell, there are no duplicate items and all are listed at well below RRP so there is no profit to be made as such.

Does this seem like a high number to list at once? Or could I list even more?

Thanks in advance! :)

  • You say you have 46 listings ready, but I hope you haven't spent time putting them into Turbo Lister as you can't use that on a free listings weekend.

I wouldn't worry about putting that many on, I've had more than that before and they didn't say anything to me.

    Thanks for the advice. :)

No, I've not listed them using Turbolister.

It's not just Turbolister you can't use - it's any listing tool I believe. usually it's only free if you list direct onto the ebay website - which is time consuming as you need to do one item at a time!

46 is fine......I reckon up to 100 as they allow 100 free 99p listings.
