From the link:
"What's included?
Only items listed on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style or Auction with Buy It Now option formats are included. Listings using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now."
Is it me or does the second sentence above completely contradict the first sentence?0 -

Yes - it is a bit confusing - I think they're just trying to say that you can still have a free auction listing even if you also want to list the item as BIN - but you will be charged the fee for the BIN portion of the transaction!
They need to simplify their stuff their help pages are just as bad!0 -

No - its badly worded, but basically it means you can list an auction for free...........so if you list an auction with buy it now......the auction is still free, but the buy it now option isnt.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
