Well my lovelies, MY DD GOT:j THE JOB!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

They told her that they would let her know on Tuesday, but on the way home, they phoned her, and told her she got it. :D She is over the moon!!! I AM SO PROUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDD OF HER!!!

We ended up crying with joy!!!! Gosh what a relief. I am still trying to catch my breath and so is DD. This whole week was about practising, researching, all sorts and she shone like a light. They told her they really liked her and she had a laugh in the interview!!!!:D.

I know I have been very distracted in past few days, but all is well now and we can both relax. It's celebrations for the rest of the week!!!!:D And Snoop and DD are sooooo happy.

Hope everyone here is well. I have been reading all your post!!

I need a good strong drink now!!!! so have a great day one and all and stay positive and keep smiling!!!! xx:beer:

    Hi Pippi

I can totally sympathise with the thesis writing, been there. It's nasty but worth it in the end. :D I know everyone says that but its true.

  • hello everyone

Bit late tonight and not made it on the last few days - work been a bit manic.

Next week is my wonderful students first exams (poor loves) so I am up to my eyeballs in preperations. Hence still at my desk at 7.20pm! Photocopier is working its butt off. Did spend some money today though on a smoked sausage supper at the chippy. I told him I didnt wnat the wee one though so he gave me 2!!! Might be worth the money but feel like a bit fat pie cause I ate them both :rotfl:
    • LSD (chippy £3.20 let me down)
    • work very hard
    • charge mobile on my work computer
    • charge ipod on my work computer
    • record steps on the nike site to keep track of fitness goals
    • other meals from stores
    • walk part way home for fitness (might need to walk all the way after my sausages!)
    • use bus pass for cheap travel
    • arrange to meet friend tomorrow - not seen her in FAR too long
    • catch up with others via facebook during lunch hour
    • check freebies
    • plan workload for tomorrow (will have to come in for a while - will get TOIL)
    • book me in for free lunch next wed and Fri during exams as I wont have a chance to get away from my desk
    • DD been v good so give her some money for Valentines day so she can go out with her BF
Having a terrible dilema over Valentines this year. See, I have a 'friend' at work. Lovely guy who I ended up asking out last year. (Frist guy I have asked out in 20 years!!!!) He then told me he is single but gay :o However, he then sent me a lovely xmas card and we are just lovely friends now (although I have not fully given up hope - which I know is SO wrong). Managed to get quite a generic card just saying he is lovely so I thought I might send it - too much? Prob but I cant resist. I may have major egg on my face on Mon!!

Right, away to catch up on what everyone has been up to last few days :)
