No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
  • Morning all :)

Nothing new on my list today:

    - checked banking - much healthier than it was even this time last month, when I hadn't quite hit my LBM
    - checked for/done surveys
    - making bread
    - heating off
    - laundry will be drying on airer (bit late today as OH went to work later than usual)
    - lunch on freshly baked bread and whatever else is in the fridge
    - dinner from stores/menu
    - work out if it's feasible to play this month's council tax money (I miscalculated on SOA, forgetting we pay over 10 months, so in theory have the next two payments "spare") off cc
    - mentally gear up for the weekend!

Hope you all have a good Friday :)

Hi everyone. Hugs to all that need them.

The good news is its Friday, the bad news is it's still one more week to go to payday, and funds are VERY tight.

My friend was working in the First Class lounge at the station this morning, so grabbed a free cup of coffee, newspaper, bottle of water, and a couple of small flapjacks.

    Today I have:
    • Showered using toiletries brought back from recent hotel stays
    • Left the heating off
    • Charged phone up on the train
    • Renegotiated my mobile phone contract, saving nearly £8 per month.
    • Brought lunch from home
    • Checked online banking and transferred money from savings account to current account ready for the weekend grocery shopping and some bills that are due to come out of my account
    • Dinner from stores
    Have a great Friday everyone

Where's DNMS - is she sick? I've been sick for a few days what with reducing the AD's when I wasn't supposed to but now very much in the land of the living. Though I had an appt for a visit round a new training scheme but they were aloof and not that helpful so I don't know if I'll get a place on there or not or if I'll spend the summer trying to build my craft business.

Spent £25 @ HC as well too boot yesterday  and bought a rat cage on Wednesday so that when I'm well enough I can get pet rats :)...but maybe not till after I've been to Inverness DV in two weeks time. This pm I really want them but like I have to make a sewing machine cover and work on card making

Have decided that wraps etc are OUT..I have enough flour and milk doesn't cost a lot nor do eggs. I can make pancakes for lunch :)

Anyhow I have a dodgy stomach (don't know if I should take my homeopathic remedy for it. It sent me to the GP in crisis on wednesday = £5 for taxi  and then A+E and you know A+E and me really DON'T mix LOL)

    E
PS. Have just lost stomach pills and can't afford any more till Tuesday :(...praying folk pray they turn up and now feel spaced out on the meds I just took for agitation...however on with the sewing machine cover :)
